Comment: A temporary entrance to I-10 West will be provided at the intersection of Severn and the North I-10 Service Rd. The entrance in intended for Veterans traffic headed to I-10 West. All traffic using the entrance must enter I-10 West from Southbound Severn only. A few closures will be necessary: 1) No left turn from Westbound Veterans onto Southbound Causeway. 2) No left turn from Southbound Severn onto Eastbound Veterans.

Comment: The Cote Blanche Pontoon bridge on LA 308 E. Main St. between LA 308 and LA 1 W. Main St. near E. 52 nd St. and E. 53 rd St. is now only open to boat traffic from 7 am to 7 pm daily and vehicle traffic 24/7. The bridge will close to traffic 9/3 at 7 pm and will resume the afforementioned schedule on 9/7 at 7 am.

Comment: The Prospect Lift Bridge on LA 3087 Prospect Blvd. between LA 24/659 E. Park Ave. and LA 24/56 E. Main St. will be closed on May 24, 2010 for the next two years because of bridge construction. Alternate routes from closure: W/B: Daigville Lift 1.5 mi or Howard Ave. Lift 1 mi. E/B: Presque Isle Lift 2.5 mi or Bayouside Dr. Draw 4 mi. Three way stop at intersection of LA 24/56 E. Main St. and LA 3087 Prospect Blvd. Expect temporary lane closures with flagmen and alternating traffic flow. All turn lanes on either LA 24/56 or LA 24/659 used to cross the bridge are closed.
