Comment: The Prospect Lift Bridge on LA 3087 Prospect Blvd. between LA 24/659 E. Park Ave. and LA 24/56 E. Main St. will be closed on May 24, 2010 for the next two years because of bridge construction. Detour bridges: Westbound: Daigville Lift 1.5 mi or Howard Ave. Lift 1 mi. Eastbound: Presque Isle Lift 2.5 mi or Bayouside Dr. Draw 4 mi. Three way stop at intersection of LA 3087 Prospect Blvd. and LA 24/56 East Main St. Expect temporary lane closures with flaggers and alternating traffic flow. All turn lanes on either LA 24/56 or LA 24/659 used to cross the bridge are closed. Expect congestion. Drive with caution.
