When you register for a My Louisiana 511 account, you can receive text message or email notifications for your daily commutes. Louisiana 511 sends notifications for incidents, construction and congestion; and travel time increases and traffic speed changes. You decide the days and times when you want to be notified. And using new HERE data, Louisiana 511 can now provide travel times from your front door to your office door.

You also can save any of the more than 2,000 DOTD traffic cameras to a slideshow on the 511la.org homepage. A quick scroll through the cameras in the morning can mean the difference between being late to work and having enough time to stop for coffee and donuts.
