Welcome to the new Louisiana 511 Traveler Information website.
The new traveler information system was launched by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) in December 2018.Travelers throughout the state of Louisiana can also access traveler information by cellular and landline telephone by dailing 511. LADOTD's new mobile application is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation is working diligently to keep all state routes passable during severe weather events. When the situation deteriorates to where some roads are impassable, there are priority routes where DOTD focuses its de-icing efforts. This graphic shows those priority routes.
